Christo,

Yes, it is safe to delete those files. These are files utilized during either an XPU
installation or software installation and should have been deleted upon process
completion. You may also find files called ISS*.tmp which may contain further
residual installation files, these also are safe to delete. I will notify the Scanner
development team that the clean up is not succeeding and I am sure they will address
it.

Cheers,

Subject: [ISSForum] Internet Scanner .tmp files created by ISS

I have a system on which I have Internet Scanner installed and the space on the C
drive is running low. After investigation I found that in the folder "C:\Documents and
Settings\My ID\Local Settings\Temp" there are 41 files called ISS*.tmp and 3 called
pft*.tmp which seems to have something to do with Internet Scanner. These files use
nearly a Gig of space. Does anyone know where these files come from, when they are
created and if they can be deleted?

Kind regards
