Christo, Yes, it is safe to delete those files. These are files utilized during either an XPU installation or software installation and should have been deleted upon process completion. You may also find files called ISS*.tmp which may contain further residual installation files, these also are safe to delete. I will notify the Scanner development team that the clean up is not succeeding and I am sure they will address it.
