Tony,

Check your issDaemon.policy file to see if the XPU aborted and left an entry in the
policy file. It would be at the end of the file and look like this:

**************** SNIP ********************

[\engines\scanner_1\Packages\XPressUpdate7_5\];
Path    =S      C:\Program Files\ISS\ScannerConsole\Downloaded XPress
Updates\XPressUpdate7_5.xpu;
Uninstalled     =B      0;
type    =S      patch;
version =S      100.2;
required_reboot =B      0;
automatic_reboot        =B      0;
setup_result    =L      3;
setup_type      =S      install;
setup_log_file  =S      C:\Program
Files\ISS\issDaemon\UpdateLogs\scanner_1_XPressUpdate7_5_setup.log;
result_log_file =S      ;

**************** SNIP ********************

Where the entry matches the XPU that failed to install and that you are attempting to
install now. If you see this, stop the daemon and then delete these lines.

Also look for a line earlier in the file that looks like this:

**************** SNIP ********************

last_setup      =S      XPressUpdate7_5;

**************** SNIP ********************

Be sure to modify this to equal the last successfully installed XPU.

Also, on the line above the entry you just observed will see a line that shows the
current install order:

**************** SNIP ********************

install_order   =S
XPressUpdate7_1:XPressUpdate7_2:XPressUpdate7_3:XPressUpdate7_4:XPressUpdate7_5:

**************** SNIP ********************

Modify this line so that it ends with the last successfully installed XPU.

Save and close the file, then restart the issDaemon (ensure the controller
[ISCSrv.exe] and all blades start) and reattempt the XPU install.

Additionally, if the XPU is failing due to a longer than expected DL time, you may
want to consider downloading the XPU using the XpressUpate program and then installing
locally. If you do this and DL to the "...\Program
Files\ISS\ScannerConsole\Downloaded XPress Updates" directory, be sure to copy the
other successfully installed XPU files from the "..\Program
Files\ISS\ScannerConsole\Update" to the "...\Program
Files\ISS\ScannerConsole\Downloaded XPress Updates" directory. You do not need to
copy the ini files there.

Hope this helps.
