Guys,

When dealing with multiple VM problems, you can always "fake" multiple versions being
installed by copying the following reg key and pointing it to the right place.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.4.2_01]  < change
this to what you want....
"JavaHome"="C:\\Program Files\\Java\\j2re1.4.2_01"                        < leave all
this the same...
"MicroVersion"="2"
"RuntimeLib"="C:\\Program Files\\Java\\j2re1.4.2_01\\bin\\client\\jvm.dll"

This will trick the SP app to see the right version installed, even if you don't have
it !!

Kind regards,

Have you tried attempting to stop all of the Real Secure services, and then purging
the database?
