I am wondering whether it is possible yet with System Scanner to obtain alerts from the agents based upon the host's exceptioned status; in the past the answer was no, and that unfortunately made alerting from the agent unuseful.
Development of trending is of interest, too. It would be useful to have a daily report which indicates simply number of vulnerabilities relative to a certain policy and ranks that date's "score" in relation to previous numeric ratings from the summaries.
While the emailed reports are useful to a grunt, management has no interest unless they can scan the report in 20 seconds.
As the reports generate *from* a Windows console it makes it quite hard to massage
the automatically emailed reports--full or summary--into a different form.
Do folks have answers or workarounds on this for a Windows-confused UNIX specialist?
Thanks,
Jeffrey
