Have you enabled the use of the "monitored folders"
functionality in System Scanner. This allows you to
configure a set of folders, and S2 will tell you
if any of those folders (and their contents) have
changed (including being added to).

These checks are enabled in the maintenance layers by
default, but if you haven't configured the functionality
you need to create custom maintenance layers with
these checks removed.

Subject: [ISSForum] maintenance scans on Solaris7

***** THIS EMAIL WAS SENT VIA THE INTERNET *****

Dear All,
I'm having problems running SystemScanner 4.2 maintenance scans 1 and 3 on a
Solaris 7 server. Maintenance's 2,4,5&6 all run fine.
I have tried workarounds such as not running 3 concurrent scans but the
errorlog seems to point to userconf/monitoredFolders not found.
Can anyone help me getting these running? I attach a copy of the errorlog.
Any help, as always, would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,

Andy
