Hi everybody; I am configuring proventa A604 that have 4 Ethernet and one monitoring port. I would like to configure the device in such a way that whenever it detects an attack it should reset the session. In other words I want to use RSKILL feature. This device is connecting to three Cisco 2950 switches, connecting to A, B and C Ethernet interface respectively. In each of switch one port is configure as span port with ingress enable so that it can listen and can also reset the attacker port. After doing this I make a policy name test attacked and define whenever telnet session come kill the session. When I go and test this it is not killing the telnet session only it is logging the event. My questions are Did I am doing any thing wrong? If I am mistaken please guide me in right direction. IF I didn't explain well you can asked me I will try to explain more.
