The agentinstall.exe file that results from the agent build process works wonderfully
with any standard enterprise management/software delivery suite such as SMS,
Unicenter, Tivoli, etc. For smaller shops, it also works great with remote execute
utilities like psexec (part of the PSTools suite from www.sysinternals.com), which can
be scripted in a batch file.

Ahhh, the remote push. Once upon a time known as "InstallPac."

Doesn't exist in Site Protector. You can still do agent builds, but you
cannot do remote pushes any more.

Site Protector publishes its builds to a little web page on the system.
Type in http://<Site_Protector_IP_Address>:8085 and it brings up that
page. You could then link one of the build packages to a logon script.

Subject: [ISSForum] Site Protector installing Desktop Controller

Hello All,

Excuse me if I'm being a bit thick.

About a year ago we deployed BlackIce from Icecap Manager.
We were able to remotely install onto user's desktops without any user
intervention.

I want to similarly install Desktop Protector from Site Protector
remotely without any user intervention.
I have read all the documentation I can find & looked at the
knowledgebase, but can not see how to do this.

Is it possible?

Many Thanks,
Matt.
