I have a gigabit network sensor on a multiprocessor Intel Box. It is really loaded (CPU 100% loaded, around 10-30% packet loss), but I have seen only one cpu is used. The Realsecure processes runs only on one cpu (100% used) and all the other 3 cpu are free. The network sensors I managed are installed on RH7.3.
Can Real Secure Network Sensor (100Mbit/s or Gigabit) use multiprocessor efficently? Can it on linux? Should I change any setting to make it use the other processor efficently?
