Hi folks, Thanks for all your advice. Eventually I got the problem solved. I found that the table MaintenanceLog contained around 9 million rows. The table content shown that the iss_PurgeHosts procedure continuously attempted to purge unused hosts but failed. I seach the knowledgebase and found a new iss_PurgeHosts. I replaced it and delete the huge log from MaintenanceLog. Everything was back to normal and the DB size dropped to around 40%.
Something strange is, the document states that SP4 has fixed the problem but my problem came out after applying SP4. Anyway, thanks again!
