IS is not able to handle concurrent scan sessions, so subsequent scans
should queue up as you are seeing. The scanning appliance we are
working on does support concurrent scan sessions however.

Subject: [ISSForum] Simultaneous Internet Scanner jobs w/ SiteProtector?

I just switched over from scanning w/ the Internet Scanner console or
the CLI to SiteProtector. With either of the former two, it is
possible to launch simultaneous scan sessions. However, when launching
a scan via SiteProtector, it appears that subsequent jobs will remain
queued until the previous running job finishes.

I couldn't find anything in the documentation, the knowledge base, or
any obvious options in SiteProtector about this. Is this working as
intended? Since it is not uncommon for a couple of hosts to take
significantly longer to complete, this is obviously not ideal, and makes
scheduling recurring scans much more difficult.

Thanks.
