@davidradl @nateab I think this PR affects more than just the hashmap backend so it would be useful to merge. We ran into it with rocksdb Although there is an implicit assumption with the `int` still that I think we should evaluate changing - doesn't this assume that the maximum managed memory per subtask is 4Gi (2Gi per key/value)? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
