Hi @wenjin272, if no one is working on the second item, I’d like to take it on. I reproduced it in Python component tests with injected runtime faults. My initial idea is to use an explicit exception type for framework faults from internal subagent calls, so ToolCallAction can rethrow them with the original cause. I’d also check that nested calls and the Python bridge preserve this distinction: framework faults should fail the Action, while ordinary child failures should still return a failed SubagentResult.
