MartijnVisser opened a new pull request, #123:
URL: https://github.com/apache/flink-benchmarks/pull/123

   ## Purpose of the change

The OpenSSL network benchmark fails since flink-shaded 22.0 and the TLSv1.3
default, and CI then hangs until it's killed after 6h. This supersedes #118 by
@snuyanzin, who is co-author, and adds the runner change it was missing.

   ## Brief change log

   - Update flink-shaded to 22.0 and netty-tcnative to 2.0.81
   - Run CI on `ubuntu-26.04`, since tcnative 2.0.81 needs OpenSSL 3.2+
   - Install `libssl3` instead of libssl1.0.0, and note the requirement in the
README

   ## Verifying this change

   In linux/amd64 containers, `StreamNetworkThroughputBenchmarkExecutor` hangs
on master with ubuntu:24.04. With this change it fails with `OPENSSL_3.2.0 not
found` on ubuntu:24.04 and passes on ubuntu:26.04 (3 runs each), as does the
full `mvn test -P test-java17`.

   ## Impact and documentation

Machines that run these benchmarks need OpenSSL 3.2+ for the OpenSSL
parameter.
