Tim Armstrong commented on IMPALA-5950:
---------------------------------------

For q35a, the results match the contents of my customer table in my dev env.
I.e. if other systems are getting different results, it appears to be because
the underlying data is different.

For q48, I ran the same query on Hive and got the same result, which also
suggests the difference stems from the data rather than Impala.

> Impala's TPC-DS results for Q35a and Q48 in test environment don't match
> results from TPC-DS tools

> Results of q35a (in ttq.218.out) disagree with same query run on Postgres,
> Vertica and Netezza.
> Results of q48 disagree with expected TPC-DS result data. Q48 was passing
> for a long time, then this _intermittent_ failure began occurring at least by
> 10/5/2017, 16:17PT on Jenkins--see attached pre-review-consoleText.
