I spent a lot of time fixing my implementation due to some wrong assumptions
about the descriptors. However, I still make one assumption: 'col_path' of the
SlotDescriptor won't map to a STRUCT column. It will point directly to a
primitive/collection column. Please give me cases if I'm wrong.
