[~boristyukin] - My advice would be to "upgrade" your schemas and convert them
from fixed-width string to variable. There are zero advantages to CHAR over
VARCHAR/STRING. It's a simple migration – just convert the DDL and when you
unload/load the data, just trim the trailing spaces.
