Tim Armstrong resolved IMPALA-4699.
-----------------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Fix

We were planning to remove this for Impala 4 anyway

> Impala's build scripts don't cause Impala-lzo to use the same compiler

> When I compile with clang, I see:

> -- Setup toolchain link flags

> -L/opt/Impala-Toolchain/gcc-4.9.2/lib64
> -- The C compiler identification is GNU 4.9.2
> -- The CXX compiler identification is Clang 3.8.0
> -- Check for working C compiler: /opt/Impala-Toolchain/gcc-4.9.2/bin/gcc
> -- Check for working C compiler: /opt/Impala-Toolchain/gcc-4.9.2/bin/gcc --
> works
> {noformat}
> Presumably Impala-lzo should be using clang as the C compiler, not just the
