Fang-Yu Rao updated IMPALA-10003:
---------------------------------
Description:
We have seen the test of failed with the following error message.
{code:java}
AssertionError: Metric value impala-server.num-fragments-in-flight did not
reach value 0 in 60s
{code}
The error message is the same as the one reported in IMPALA-9842, which has
been resolved already. A follow-up JIRA is also created at IMPALA-9864 to
produce minidump when this end-to-end test fails.
In this regard, we create a new JIRA to keep track of the issue.
[~joemcdonnell] and [~tarmstrong] helped with resolving the issue of
IMPALA-9842. Maybe you could provide some insight into the problem. Assign the
JIRA to [~joemcdonnell] for now, but please feel free to assign it to other as
you see appropriate. Thanks!
