Hey [~skyyws],
The request originally came from [~boroknagyz] with the following requirements:
It would be nice to have a C++ implementation as a scalar functions that could
be called from Impala shell. Then later on the planner could reference these
functions when it sets the distribution strategy of the exchange node and
additionally the table sink operator could use it as well. (free translation
from hungarian :D )
