Description:
Impala 4.0 now depends on CDP Hive3 which backports some features of Apache
Hive4. This epic tracks the work to add back the support on Apache Hive3.
Currently the latest release is Hive-3.1.2.
We can start on providing a MetastoreShim for Apache Hive 3 and CDP Hive 3,
just like what we did in Impala 3.x to support Hive 2 & 3.
