For insert-only transactional tables, it would be useful to project the write
id as a virtual column such that partition and/or file pruning can be done
based on the write id. For compacted folders, some thought needs to be given
for what can be projected in order to do a more coarse grained filtering (since
file pruning is not possible after compaction).
