Riza Suminto commented on IMPALA-11963:
---------------------------------------
[~gaborkaszab] [~boroknagyz] Agree. I have question though. Will Impala support
multiple HiveCatalog/HadoopCatalog in the future?
Right now, Impala reads single catalog properties and apply to to all instances
of HiveCatalog and HadoopCatalog. What if individual catalog wants to have
their own properties?
> Make Iceberg catalog property support more generic

> Currently the Iceberg catalog properties are added to a list and it requires
> an Impala code change to support additional properties.

> However, it would be nice to just simply add the property to the
> core-site.xml config and then Impala would pick it up automatically. Search
> for the ones with "iceberg." prefix maybe?
