As expected, the problem regarding [query timeline not working for the
experimental profile|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-13198] was
due to the unavailability of instance-level details in the experimental profile.
After looking through multiple patches and JIRAs posted by [~tarmstrong], I
found that [event sequences were kept out deliberately for reasons mentioned
here|https://github.com/apache/impala/blob/00d0b0dda1e215d8e91ff52688fe6654bee52282/be/src/util/runtime-profile.cc#L2914-L2923].
