We can build Impala with JDK17 with Apache Hive 2 and Hive 3 as dependencies.
all-build-options-ub2004 is part of our pre-commit jobs and it builds Impala
with Hive 2 and Hive 3 as well.
[~csringhofer] did you have other tests in mind as well? I'm not sure data
loading would work with Hive 2 or 3. We could probably add a very limited
testing that doesn't do the full data loading and just does some kind of smoke
testing. That'd require a few extra Jenkins jobs to be created as well.
