Hi [~stigahuang], I was looking through the HBO/profile-related backlog for
places where I might help without duplicating active work.
The candidates that look most suitable are:
- IMPALA-14941: ExecSummary shows 0 output rows under SUBPLAN node. It is
assigned, but I did not find an active Gerrit review, so I wanted to check
whether it is stalled or still planned.
- IMPALA-15037: Add a profile counter to show HBO stats read duration. This
looks profile-facing and relatively focused.
- IMPALA-14846: HBO for KuduScanNode and HBaseScanNode cardinality. This is
unassigned and older, though probably broader.
If one of these would be useful to pick up, I can start with a small
preflight/reproducer and focused tests before proposing a patch. Alternatively,
if there is another HBO/profile-related task where help would be more useful,
