Timothy Bish commented on OPENWIRE-8:
-------------------------------------

The openwire-c client has been unmaintained for many years so it is not
surprising that it won't work. Instead you can try the ActiveMQ-CPP client
here: http://activemq.apache.org/cms/

If you want to jump in an work on the openwire-c client we love contributions.
I'd guess the problem is that it doesn't have know how to handle the later
versions of openwire and this causes some trouble for it.
