Gary Tully commented on AMQ-6585   Re: Upgrade to Camel 2.18.x I guess there are two distinct issues here: support for 2.18 moving the camel bits to camel For spring-xbean - I guess it needs a new release or we can embed the dependent spring. For moving the camel component to the camel project - I think the broker-camel-component could also move or follow if there is demand. The code dependencies are on stable activemq interfaces. I don't think it is a blocker for moving the component out of the activemq project. Having said that, I am not aware of users of that component so we could deprecate to gauge impact.
