Piotr Klimczak commented on AMQ-4693:
-------------------------------------

Hi [~gtully].

When I was looking for possible solutions, I have studied some other projects
and also got inspired by one of Apache project which had it already implemented
(don't remember which one unfortunately). My assumption was that if this
solution was already once accepted by apache committers to the other project,
then it should be good enough for ActiveMQ too, but indeed it looks like things
moved on since then.
At this point of time (late 2014), I have found that RFC2712 was the simplest
implementation for this JIRA as other approaches required quite a lot of work
as per comments made by others.
Haven't used it anywhere in any project, as did it purely for community and
self learning of kerberos.

Kind regards
