I think you should log this on the AUDIT_LOG as well.
Users interested in this particular of information will be looking through
the AUDIT.
notice you have to log the message that had the previous ID before, and the
one that's being ignored.
The particular user that hit this issue was only looking through AUDIT. and
it would be very helpful if that information was there.
