Can you elaborate on exactly which MBean attributes you were inspecting
previously to get *per minute* statistics?
In ActiveMQ Artemis historical queue data is not tracked by default since it
imposes a performance penalty. However, you can activate [message
counters|https://activemq.apache.org/components/artemis/documentation/latest/management.html#message-counters]
on the queues for which you need these statistics.
A more robust solution would be to use
[metrics|https://activemq.apache.org/components/artemis/documentation/latest/metrics.html#metrics]
which can be consumed by a time-series database like Prometheus from which you
can create rich dashboards and alerts with a tool like Grafana. Generally
speaking this is the recommended approach as it offloads the task of tracking
historical data from the broker and provides a much larger feature set for
users.
