New console makes it very hard to gather all information at a glance – in the
old one stuff was more compact and wasted less space. Additionally, elements
were easier to identify and create custom CSS for. New framework (?) creates
cumbersomly nested layouts with unfriendly identifiers that makes it hard to
fix things locally.
The "white area" where infoarmation happens wastes space to the left (those 4
points do not need a bout 1/5 of the window width) und bottom (there's nothing,
so why alot that much space there?).
Artemis node:
* ordering implausible – apparently, the default order is by the
randomly/automatically assigned ID, but not the name users give and know. Order
is not kept, nor can it be persistently configured anywhere
* amount of rows is hard-coded to 10 rows - together with that rather wasteful
row height it means that there's very little information actually available.
Number of rows needs to be configurable, and persistent over future logins (and
the row height should decrease, it's possible in `Runtime`, after all)
Artmis JMX node:
* tree on the left has far to much spacing, thus a lot of nodes disappear
below, forcing one to scroll ... – funnily enough, the very same tree in `JMX`
is much more sensibly spaced
* which means the headers disappear – that's bad enough with the tree/search
field, but it basically makes the right area menu row almost unsable once you
scroll down. It simply is gone and you need to scroll back up – at the very
least the header/menu needs to stay in place
* tree nodes below adresses exist twice, for instance there's `DLQ` with a
folder icon and right below `DLQ` again with a cube icon. `DLQ` with a folder
has a non-functional menu bar, `DLQ` with the cube a functional one. This
should be combined in just one node again
* `Send Message` text area folds in mysterious ways/keeps lines when scrolling
(not sure _what_ actually happens)
* while I am happy the text now remains after sending, the folding/scrolling
thing makes it difficult to edit, and if one pastes again, it's hard to see
whether pasting succeeded or it's still the old text
JMX node:
* here again nodes are duplicated
* header does not stay when scrolling, making it hard to use
Runtime node:
* `System properties` pane is limited to _20_ rows (as opposed to the 10
elsewhere), needs to be configurable
* same goes for `Threads` pane
