Marcus Christie commented on AIRAVATA-2170: ------------------------------------------- I've made a change to PGA that prevents the project owner from changing. However, there are a couple other things that should be done # The backend shouldn't allow changing the project owner. I looked at the tables with [~eroma_a] and looks like the project owner is taken from the column PROJECT.USER_NAME in the experiment catalog. # The project ownership information should come from the sharing data? When PGA displays the owner of a project seems like it should come from the sharing data. These are somewhat related. If the project ownership consistently comes from the sharing data, then the PROJECT.USER_NAME column becomes less important (maybe deprecated?). I need to discuss with [~scnakandala] what's the best approach to keep these in sync, etc. > When editing a project, only the owner can change the sharing settings > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: AIRAVATA-2170 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-2170 > Project: Airavata > Issue Type: Sub-task > Reporter: Marcus Christie > Assignee: Marcus Christie > -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
