It appears that after processing emails the email monitoring module mark them 
as unread if not processed. Hence even if the emails are marked as READ 
manually, they are again marked as 'Unread'

This is an observation not sure whether its an issue or the implementation.
This results emails getting accumulated and unprocessed.
