   # Abstract
   Large compendiums of datasets compiled in public databases such as
whole-brain atlases provide extensive
    and detailed maps of the brain. However, using such brain atlases for the
construction of computational
     models remains a challenge. Diverse databases are required for
construction of detailed models and
   becomes difficult to modify and reuse. Airavata Cerebrum is a flexible and
extendable tool in python that
   (a) allows queries over different databases and brain atlases,
   (b) applies transformations the resultant data,
   (c) builds a network of neurons as a working computational model, and
   (d) simple edits to the built network
   The resulting computational models is described using the standard SONATA
format.
   Simulation software such as NEST can use the model accept such inputs
without any modification.
   In this paper, we demonstrate the use of our framework in building a
full-scale V1 model using
   our software. TODO::
