Today the service checks depends on the /var/run/component/component.pid file.
Many a times, there are stale pid's which are causing services startups to fail
from Ambari.
Especially during Ambari upgrade when such a failure happens, it becomes
difficult to restart the services.
We need to improve the way we handle the pid files are completely move out to a
different method.
Whent he pid and the process started aren't matching - that needs to be
reported by Ambari and may be it should remove the stale pid files.
