The date filter is allowing the user to clear date and enter any random value.
On clicking enter no error message is thrown and the list of entries remains
unchanged. Also, if you leave the values blank, all the history queries still
get listed.
Ideally the date filter should not permit any values other than those entered
through the date picker.
