Fix For: 2.4.0
STR:
1. Go to Manage Ambari.
2. Create user.
3. Go to Roles menu, list view.
4. Set role for newly created user.
5. Change role for that user.
{noformat}Cannot save permissions
t's effective privilege through its Group(s) is higher than your selected
privilege.{noformat}
No goups was created.
Workaround: change role to None and then change to desired value.
