PROBLEM:
We are seeing quite a good number of instances where users are changing the
configurations at the client end (from command line) and are complaining that
the jobs are failing/breaking due to inconsistency of configurations.
As a solution we could add a configuration inconsistency check in ambari to
check configurations across all the clients and report the inconsistency (if
any) in Ambari UI.
In this way the user will be aware of the changes made and identify the issues
occurred in that particular client (if any).
