Ok if that is the case then a note should be added to the Ambari wiki
documentation about Extensions
(https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AMBARI/Extensions or
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AMBARI/Packaging+and+Installing+Custom+Services)
requiring minimum Ambari 2.5 and references to at least:
* AMBARI-19258 - extension directories not synced to agents
* AMBARI-19283 - alert scripts not searching extension directories
Otherwise it seems like Ambari 2.4 should fully support Extensions and they
don't work.
