Sumit Mohanty updated AMBARI-20571:
-----------------------------------
Description:
Property atlas.cluster.name is no longer expected in hive-site. It should have
been deleted in the stack definition, from HDP-2.5/hive-site onwards but it was
missed.
During upgrade to HDP-2.5 and HDP-2.6 the property should be removed from
hive-site.
was:
Property atlas.cluster.name is no longer expected in hive-site. It should have
been deleted in the stack definition, from HDP-2.5/hive-site onwards but it was
missed.
Presence of this property does not cause any problem either.
Now, if you deploy Hive and Atlas together (UI or BP) you will see this
property added and subsequently removed when Atlas is removed.
If you deploy just Hive and then add Atlas, the property will not get added and
thus it will not appear in the list of properties being removed.
This bug is only tracking fresh cluster deployments.
> Remove property atlas.cluster.name from hive-site during HDP stack upgrades
