After changing the dafault admin credentials, I could not sync LDAP users from
a Windows Server 2012 running ActiveDirectory. The root cause seems to be the
updated admin credentials were missing from the users table of the Postgres
database. The details of the issue are available at the below link. I had to
rebuild the Ambari server and database from scratch and use the default
(unchanged) credentials to sync LDAP users.
