Command passed with ambari is
/usr/bin/kinit -kt /etc/security/keytabs/hbase.service.keytab
hbase/mast...@example.com; /usr/hdp/current/hbase-master/bin/hbase --config
/usr/hdp/current/hbase-master/conf
-Djava.security.auth.login.config=/usr/hdp/current/hbase-master/conf/hbase_master_jaas.conf
org.jruby.Main /usr/hdp/current/hbase-master/bin/draining_servers.rb add
worker1
Where " -Djava.security.auth.login.config" is passed as option as above, which
is not acceptable option for "hbase" command.
Ambari should not pass this along with hbase command as we are already setting
login config in hbase-env.sh. Executing
"/usr/hdp/current/hbase-master/bin/hbase " will execute hbase-env.sh which sets
HBASE_OPTS with login.config.
In your case, you are not passing " -Djava.security.auth.login.config" as
argument to "/usr/hdp/current/hbase-master/bin/hbase"
