Description:
*JQuery and Bootstrap Upgrade and Related Issue Fixes*
*Background:*
The Ambari project is currently using outdated versions of JQuery and
Bootstrap, which may have security vulnerabilities and performance issues. To
improve the security, maintainability, and user experience of the project, an
upgrade of JQuery and Bootstrap is necessary.
*Objective:*
# Upgrade the versions of JQuery and Bootstrap used in the project to the
latest stable releases.
# Fix any compatibility issues caused by the upgrade.
# Ensure that all front-end functionality related to JQuery and Bootstrap
works correctly, especially UI interactions, form validations, modals,
tooltips, etc.
# Improve the overall security and performance of the project through the
upgrade.
*Related Issues:*
*
** *Compatibility Issues:* The version changes in JQuery and Bootstrap may
cause some existing code to break, requiring investigation and fixes.
** *Style Issues:* The Bootstrap upgrade may result in changes to page styles,
which will need to be adjusted to maintain a consistent visual appearance.
** *Security Issues:* After the upgrade, it is important to ensure that all
known security vulnerabilities are resolved, and necessary security testing is
conducted.
