Archiva fails to properly deal with overloaded upstream proxy
-------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MRM-1067
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRM-1067
Project: Archiva
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.2-M1
Reporter: Dave Cheney
Priority: Critical
Attachments: archiva-threaddump.txt
http://java.freehep.org/ is having problems at the moment, but archiva cannot
deal with that problem and keeps pounding it with http connections with long
timeouts which in turn affects the stability of archiva itself.
If a remote artifact needs to be fetched, can a mutex be used to ensure that
the same request is not made multiple times ?
