Quicksearch from the xmlrpc api returns no results

The attached projectruns a search for "org" against an archiva instance and it
is returning 0 results on our Archiva 1.2 server (installed fresh). Search from
the web page returns 226 artifacts.
To run: configure url, user and password in the pom and run "mvn package
exec:java".
In case it is relevant, I have direct network access to archiva (it is on
localhost) but the company network has a proxy for accessing the internet.
