-----------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version/s: 1.4-M1
Assignee: Brett Porter
I can't find an existing issue, but testing this on 1.4-M1 shows it has been
taken care of as a result of the earlier changes to the metadata.

> Searching for artifacts using the default-search will sort them using a
> dictionary sort order,
> e.g. 0.1, 0.10, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9
> In this case 0.10 will not be the newest entry.
> Maybe a different sort-algorithm than a plain dictionary sort order could be
> used? But the problem is, that version-numbers can also contain characters.
> This bug was found in Archiva 1.3.1, but i couldn't find any hint in this
> jira and the changelog.
