Chris Harris created MRM-1672:
---------------------------------

Summary: Upload Artifact section doesn't clear uploaded artifacts
                 Key: MRM-1672
                 URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRM-1672
             Project: Archiva
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Design, Web Interface
    Affects Versions: 1.4-M3
Environment: Windowx XP, Firefox 15.0.1, Tomcat 7.0.26 (base separated
from installation), MySQL 5.5 as FileSystem, DataStore, and PM, Apache 2.2 w/
mod_proxy.
            Reporter: Chris Harris

1.) Log in as Admin
2.) Click on Upload Artifact over on the left-hand navigation section.
3.) Select a repository to where you wish to upload an artifact.
4.) Enter in the specifics, Choose an artifact to upload, check "pomFile" if
you have one, and then click on "Start Upload".
Pausing here, I have a quick complaint, what are the check boxes next to
"Delete Upload" for? I assume it's for doing a mass delete or some other
action on multiple uploaded artifacts, but the interface isn't intuitive enough
at this point.
5.) Click on "Save Files". Your artifact will get uploaded.
6.) Repeat steps 3 - 5.

Since the first uploaded artifact is still listed, you'll get an error message
stating "Overwriting released artifacts in repository 'snapshots' is not
allowed." I also got this message for the 'internal' repository as well.
Anyway, I tried checking the check box next to the "Delete Upload" button to
apply the save command explicitly to the 2nd artifact. Same error message
again. Then, I tried checking the check box next to the "Delete Upload" button
underneath "Generate Maven POM". Same error message again.

In order for the 1st artifact to get cleared from the page, I have to navigate
to another page or refresh the page. Once that occurs, I can upload my 2nd
artifact.
