According to [https://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/Rtools/], the current
Windows toolchain uses gcc 4.9.3, so we may be clear there. Though FTR we
aren't yet building the datasets lib in R, so whether or not the Appveyor build
is passing now doesn't tell us anything about this issue.
