Bhargav Parsi created ARROW-10309:
-------------------------------------

             Summary: [Ruby] gem install red-arrow fails
                 Key: ARROW-10309
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-10309
             Project: Apache Arrow
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Ruby
            Reporter: Bhargav Parsi

I am trying to install red arrow in
centos(centos-release-7-6.1810.2.el7.centos.x86_64).
I followed the steps mentioned here
[https://arrow.apache.org/install/|https://arrow.apache.org/install/)]

Used the steps mentioned for centos 6/7.

After that I ran `gem install red-arrow`.

That gives
```
