at line 179 in the _configure_ file inside the R package _arrow_7.0.0.tar.gx_
_BUNDLED_LIBS=`cd $LIB_DIR && ls *.a`_
if _CDPATH_ is not null (in the env) _BUNDLED_DIR_ will contains also the
_$LIB_DIR_ folder path, and the installation will fail during _ld_
_.../ld.gold: fatal error: .../arrow/libarrow/arrow-7.0.0/lib: pread failed: Is
a directory_
a better option wuold be something like:
cd $LIB_DIR
BUNDLED_LIBS=`ls *.a`
ver. 8.0.0 is affected the same way
